Baby namings and change of name ceremonies are deeply personal experiences, but they are also public celebrations of identity. As a celebrant, I take great joy in being part of naming celebrations. As with the funeral and wedding services that I offer, I am honoured to be chosen to help officiate naming services, and I am open to a range of requests to help you personalise my services to match your vision for the event.

The naming services that I offer are not legally or religiously binding; instead, they are symbolic celebrations that affirm a new identity. While not all parents formalise the process of naming their children, baby naming days are a unique opportunity to welcome a new little one into a family and community.
And for those who choose to take on a new name later in life, a symbolic change of name ceremony is a wonderful chance to celebrate the choice to express oneself and come into one’s own identity. Cost-Effective Ceremonies in the Mornington Peninsula
I want all of my services to be accessible and reasonably priced, and for that reason, I offer all of my celebrant services at a highly affordable, competitively-priced rate. My standard fee for naming ceremonies is AU$300 + GST. Typically, this includes:
Initial meeting with the parents or guardians of the baby (or, in the case of name change ceremonies, the individual who wants to celebrate a new name). This meeting usually lasts for approximately 1 hour, but I am also flexible to communicate with you via phone, email and/or Skype if you have any other questions or logistics you would like to discuss.
Attendance at the ceremony itself. Depending on what type of ceremony you would like to have and what you want to include, I can help deliver the naming ritual and participate in other services, at your request.
