Why choose Amanda Morgan for your wedding, funeral or naming ceremony?

I’m not just an authorised civil celebrant; I’m a people person. And I specialise in bringing people together.

I draw on 29 years of diverse professional experiences—from running businesses in the fashion industry for two decades; to being a mum to my beautiful daughter, Isabella; to serving as a professional carer for the elderly in Mt. Eliza Terraces. All of my past roles in work and in life have helped me get to where I am today: a professional celebrant with the talent to successfully connect with people from all walks of life on a close and authentic level.

Mornington Peninsula Celebrant Services

Frequently asked questions

1How much do your services cost?
I am dedicated to offering very affordable rates to help keep my services accessible. My standard package rates are AU$650+ GST for weddings, AU$650 + GST for funerals, and AU$300 + GST for naming ceremonies. Please Note: These are the standard options that I offer, but I believe that no two ceremonies are the same, and I personalise my services to the people I serve. If you have special requests for your ceremony, please do not hesitate to contact me to find out how I can help you customise my services to suit your preferences. Additional costs may apply for extra services if we discuss them together, but I will never surprise you with hidden fees or unexpected charges.
2Can you legally marry us?
Yes, a celebrant is required to oversee the legal aspect of a wedding ceremony, and you can’t get legally married without a celebrant. As an authorised civil celebrant, I can legally marry you! I will help you go through the signing of legal documents prior to your wedding.
3How much notice do you need?
I have very flexible hours and can help accommodate your schedule, so the short answer is: It depends. In the field I work in, I am used to the reality that life doesn’t always go according to a schedule. That said, I usually ask for at least 2 days’ notice for funeral or naming ceremonies, but this can depend on the circumstances and the timing, so if you have a situation with a shorter timeframe, I invite you to reach out to me to discuss. However, for weddings, please note that legal papers need to be signed at least 30 days prior to the wedding date, so please get in touch with me early to plan accordingly!
4Do you offer baptism services?
I am not ordained, so I do not offer baptism services. However, I am pleased to offer symbolic baby naming ceremonies and symbolic name change ceremonies to celebrate a new birth or change of name.
5Where are you located?
Born and raised in the Mornington Peninsula, I am a local who is pleased to serve clients throughout the Mornington Peninsula area.
