Personalised Wedding Ceremonies
Just as no two couples are the same and no two couple’s journeys are the same, I believe that no two wedding ceremonies are the same. And that’s where I come in—I’m here to help you design a personalised wedding ceremony that celebrates the beginning of your new life together.
No matter where you are in planning your ceremony, I am committed to taking the time to get to know you both to find out who you are and what you’re looking for. There is a lot of customisation available in terms of what role you want me to play on your special day. But here are just a few examples of the plethora of ways I can support you for your wedding:
Venue selection – Are you still trying to find the right place for your wedding? I’m happy to help you choose the right setting for your ceremony. Just let me know if you’d like me to accompany you on a venue tour.
Style – With my experience as a designer in the fashion industry, I love helping with styling and designing. This can range from going shopping for a wedding dress with the bride-to-be to helping you figure out your own creative vision for your event.
Support for your Vows – While I mostly leave the personal vows up to you, if you are struggling to get your ideas down, I am happy to help you organise your thoughts and talk through your vow-writing process. Let me know if you want me to help facilitate your vow-writing.
Interfaith Weddings
One of my favourite parts about weddings is helping two people show their love and devotion to one another. And as part of that passion, I strive to be a nonjudgmental, open-minded celebrant who is accepting of all types of faiths and all types of ceremonies.
I have a deep respect for diverse understandings of spirituality and faith, and I focus on making sure that everyone feels included. After all, I believe that weddings are all about people from different backgrounds coming together in love and unity.
If you’ve been having trouble finding a celebrant who is LGBTQ+ friendly, you’ve certainly come to the right place. I’m proud to offer my services to couples from all walks of life.
Wedding Services in the Mornington Peninsula
I know that weddings can get very expensive, and I want my celebrant services to be accessible to your budget. That’s why I am committed to offering you cost-effective options at very competitive and reasonable rates. My standard fee for weddings is AU$650 + GST. Typically, this includes:
Initial phone call with the couple for approximately 15 minutes. This is when I discuss your goals for the ceremony and how I can offer you individualised services that suit your needs and preferences.
In-person meeting with BOTH parts of the couple together for approximately 45 minutes. I believe that it is important for all three of us to have a good sense of chemistry with each other, so I would like to meet with both of you at the same time. This helps keep us all on the same page!
Attendance at the ceremony rehearsal for approximately 1 hour. The ceremony rehearsal usually occurs 1-5 days prior to the ceremony, and during this rehearsal, I will help you review and sign legal contracts and prepare for the big day by going over music, timing and other logistics.
>Attendance at the ceremony itself. I typically spend a total of about 2 hours at the ceremony, including arriving at the venue about 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.
Please keep in mind that these are just general guidelines for what my involvement will often look like, but I am very flexible and happy to accommodate your requests.
